Pln#2

In my Independent reading book “Maximum Ride-Saving the World” by James Patterson there are arguably many cases during the series that good people do bad things and bad people do good things. The first part that jumps out to me is when the “Flock” is captured and one of them is nowhere to be seen. When they are moved to a new place they find out that the one of them that was missing actually joined the enemy to survive. This part surprised me because they had hinted to one of the flock being a traitor, but i was left totally in the dark about whom. I think she did this bad thing because she wanted to increase her chance to survive and not be killed. But in the twisted way of the book when the rest of the flock is about to be killed she turns back to the good side and saves them with the help of another former bad-guy.
This bad guys name is Ari and he has been trying to kill them since book one. I think he did this good thing because since he was going to be killed soon after them (his Expiration date) he decided to help them live since he couldn’t. This was also a big surprise but not as much as the first because while the flock is being held captive the author hinted to him feeling sorry for them. I think good people do bad thing and bad people do good things because of a change of heart in there character or (more for good to bad) because their not thinking and are focused on the short term.
